Welcome to 5th grade! I am certainly excited for this year. I am incredibly impressed and happy with the students. Our homeroom class totally rocks!
Much like each of the students, this is my first year in 5th grade. There is much to look forward to and I am giddy each day with the anticipation of the forays in learning that we have ahead of us. I learned so much with the "Life in a Bag" presentations. I not only made connections and noticed how much in common I had with students--from video games, traveling, gymnatics, and even playing in an orchestra, but also, how much love they expressed for and from their families.
It is going to be a great year.
This blog is my communication to you. I hope that you stop by often to peek into our homeroom. Mr. Aaby and I will also have a blog set up for Reading and Writing so you can peek in that window of education as well.
