Today we decided that it was time to choose the location of our desks--ON OUR OWN! I like to do this at the end of the year as we pack up our belongings and our days are spent with so much---BUSY. So, today we moved. Honestly, this is the first time EVER that I have allowed an entire grouping of boys and an entire grouping of girls. It is my hope that 1. It doesnt become so loud I need earplugs and 2. It drives me crazy!
The rule is that it is a One Chance Deal. If there are too many reminders, then we get to be islands for the day! So far, it has been a little loud but no overly so. (thankfully) And so far, we have been in competition mode so the boys and girls want to outdo each other on the "quiet".
Yes, to answer your question, I am wondering why I didn't think of this earlier. It could potentially lead to a lot of quiet! :)
