The classroom is coming along nicely! I am pretty excited to say that it in fact, does look like a place for learning! A portable perk? (Besides being the first student to the monkey bars?) AH--the space! It seems as though the amount of space is much more than we had in our C-1 classroom!
As I prepare for our new curriculum and what the beginning of the year looks like, I very much anticipate seeing the faces from first grade and the new faces for our classroom community. Currently we have 24 fantastic 2nd graders!
A few other exciting notes! First--I did find a t-shirt company to print 2nd grade t-shirts. That is fantastic!! I am looking for a 2nd grade logo/theme for our shirts! If you have ideas-I LOVE to hear them. And also, the open house! Be sure to stop by next week (August 31) to drop off supplies and say hi! :)
So as we counted down at the end of the year for summer, it seems I am counting down the days until September 7. I have missed you all!
