Word Choice. That is where we are AT! We are working on selective word choice for our writing! Here are a few example the students shared with me today! Similes, metaphors, onomotapoeia...all sorts! HOW wonderful!
Grace: As cold as an iceberg
Will: As hot as the sun
Elise: On a sunny dazzling day...
Emma D. : We were on the loud rumbling bus.
Kate: When I saw her dog, I gasped, "It was so cute!"
Logan: ... the snowball is like snow is flying
Megan: ... we were slowly walking.
Seraya: We driving slowly
Emma S.: My grandma's dog Pilar is a monster
Brenna: I felt like I was flying
Caleb: I made it swirl
Jillian : I felt like the deepest the puddle...
